We are doing a mini Preschool program at home this summer. Hopefully it will help us be ready to take the school by storm this fall. I have planned all sorts of fun activities, field trips, and projects. We are technically starting Monday, but we made our foam letter flashcards today. The girls are already enjoying them, and I think the K and the S will see a lot of use!

Did you make them?
I think I want to be like you and plan out more fun things to do daily during the summer.
You go with your Super Mommy self!
All I have planned for the summer is a nap every day. :P
Luke and I have really noticed what a difference it makes in how well children learn--it's so important to be the one at home, engaged with them, teaching them, and making them feel safe and important. Good for you! I have a cute video you could add to your "ABC's". Also, a store you've got to see with so many fun educational toys--you'll freak out(they are cheap and awesome)! Let's add it to our Friday excursion :)
what cute cards! i've got some fun stuff you can have that my kids have outgrown. If you don't come to the baptism, i will send them with april. we do stuff like this each summer - as my kids grow out of it i will pass it on to you. my kids think they are the only ones who have to do "homework" in the summer. I know it is worth it, i work at the school and can see the level difference in my kids and others.
What cute cards, I can't wait to see them for myself, and can't wait to see how much the girls know. It will really show how much you have worked with them when fall rolls around again. But thank heavens for summer!!!!!!
