"ALL-E!"
One of my most favorite memories as a child was my mom and I going to see the Lion King together in the theatre. It was a tradition I wanted to continue with my girls, so this day has been marked on our calendar for months. We got them all dressed up and went to see Wall-E on opening weekend. I was amazed at how captivated they both were and Ky's emotions as she cheered Wall-E on throughout the whole movie. She even applauded as the credits rolled. The sweet little Grandma sitting in front of us turned around and told me how cute it was that Ky enjoyed the movie so much. The rest of the day was filled with screams of "All-E!" from Savvy and "Waa-E!" from Ky. We even splurged on some T-shirts to commemorate the occasion. We had to promise they could wear them to bed too - or we would have never gotten them into the tub!
Beautiful Bows
I have a sweet, crafty friend that made my girls new hairbows! Seriously, how cute are they?!?!? The ones Savvy has in are American dragonflies, but my friend has tons of adorable designs. So if you need hairbows for any reason visit her online store! http://www.bellasbows.blogspot.com

Sisters
I love that our girls are so close - not only in age but in spirit. They love to play together and make each other laugh. They are simply too sweet!

Tumblin'
Accidental Naps...
...are truely the sweetest kind. My friend Trish had a similar post on her blog recently, and today Ky reminded me of how true her statement was. She fell asleep watching Fraggle Rock, which I have to say was way cooler when I was six. My Mom should get an award for putting up with some of the shows I watched. Ky apparently agreed.

Cute Moments.
Yesterday I had two seperate times that my girls actually made me laugh so hard I cried.
Ky:
We were just having a normal day doing laundry and eating fruit snacks when Gilmore Girls came on TV. I have these on DVD and Ky is more than familiar with the theme song. In fact, I usually pick her up and dance around when the song plays. This time she decided that Pudder was her partner of choice and twirled him around the room. As the song ended she struck a very dramatic pose and dipped Pudder as the big finale. I usually dip her, but I never realized that to her, it was just the way you end a dance. period.
Savvy:
Later, I had Savvy on my lap tickling her and laughing. We did an eskimo kiss and I said "You're too cute!" without missing a beat she replied "I know!" Seriously?
I am so blessed to have these sweet little girls in my life everyday. They simply make every day worth it.

What does a horse say?
Hmmm... sounds like "me," but she's trying to say neigh. Earlier the horse was saying "roar" so we're making good progress! (Sorry for the sideways video, I promise to get better at this...)
I looked out the window...
Lately when I walk into the girl's room this is what I see. The girls just love to look out the window. It also reminds me of one of my favorite Ky moments. She was about 18 months old and I had ran out for milk a little after midnight. When I got home I looked up and sure enough there was Ky at her window waving at me. I just couldn't help falling in love with her all over again. She's such a sweet little girl.

No Fear
As the world prepares for the Olympics, it seems there has been an increase of qualification events on TV. Today we stumbled across a gymnastics meet and Ky was enthralled. She was glued to the screen and began tumbling, turning, rolling around the house. She got a bit excited and sumersaulted right over the track for the sliding door cutting her knee open. Nothing two bandaids, some bactine, and boo-boo bear couldn't fix. However, I still wasn't allowed to change the channel.

Almost 2
Savvy is almost 2, but she has started early on those "terrible twos." My constantly sweet natured baby has had a sudden streak of independence. Today she got woke up before she was quite ready and was having NONE of it. Nothing I tried calmed her down so I decided to take a picture. She's cute even when she's screaming!

Cousins Weekend
We had such a fun filled weekend! My sister's family came for a visit and girls loved playing with their cousins. We went to the Veterans Memorial Park, the Gateway, the Children's Museum, and the Zoo. I feel really bad that I didn't get any pictures of April or her kids since I forgot my camera at the Zoo. However, if you click on the "April" link at the side of my blog it will take you to her cute kids. I did however get a few good pictures of the girls and Hope's kids.
