We've had quite a weekend. The power pole outside our house was struck by lightning, resulting in a lot of loud noise, fire, and no power. We were very lucky that Tyler was ok since he was in the driveway when it happened. Savvy was delighted with all the flashy firetruck lights, but Ky hid in her room. Now, Ky is "cared!" of everything - especially the dark. The worst part was it made us miss family movie night! Luckily, it has been rescheduled for tonight.
The rest of the weekend was just as busy. Ty hosted a late night lan party for all his friends, and I hit garage sales and double coupons. Between us we still managed to get the Preschool lessons in. I did "D", "F", and "blue." Tyler did "E", "G", and "green." It was a huge success except everytime I said "fish starts with f." Ky would reply "No! Nemo starts with f!" Oh-well, we tried right?

What?? That's crazy!! I'm glad Ty is ok too.
Drew felt bad he missed the lan party.. we were at west fest until after fireworks and then his brother/wife and my step-brother came over and we were up until 2 talking.
So funny about Nemo.
Major props for trying.
They'll remember it better than it really happened anyway if they're like my kids. LOL
At least we know that they know who Nemo is, and he is a great fish. Keep up the good work.
